Sophia Augusto’s journey in hospitality began at a young age, tagging along with her father to Mission Oak Grill in Newburyport in 2006. What started as helping out wherever she could quickly grew into a true passion for the restaurant industry. From hosting to coordinating large-scale events, weddings, and private parties, Sophia gained hands-on experience across all facets of front-of-house operations.

Her dedication and drive led her to Mission On The Bay in Swampscott, where she began as a barback, learning the art of craft cocktails and supporting the bar team. It didn’t take long for Sophia’s work ethic and leadership skills to shine—she advanced to Assistant General Manager and continued to grow within every corner of the hospitality business.

Today, as General Manager of Mission On The Bay, Sophia brings her deep-rooted passion, experience, and commitment to excellence to everything she does. Whether she’s leading the team, elevating the guest experience, or stepping in to support other Mission Management Group locations, Sophia is always ready to go above and beyond.
